The Homeroom Guidance program (HGP) seeks to develop personality of learners through an understanding of the self and the environment, and prepare them for their roles in the family, work, higher, education, and the community.
The HGP was designed as a way to strengthen the functions of school guidance. As such, HGP gives importance to individual learners. The HGP activities aim to develop each learner's personality and enhance the students' social relationships with teachers and other classmates.

Ang kursong ito ay nakatuon sa pag-unawa sa pinagmulan at pag-unlad ng sariling lalawigan at rehiyon kasama ang aspektong pangkultura, pampulitika, panlipunan at pangkabuhayan gamit ang malalim na konsepto ng pagapapatuloy at pagbabago, interaksyon ng tao at kapaligirang pisikal at sosyal.

Pagkatapos ng Ikatlong Baitang, inaasahang naipamamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang pagkakaroon ng katatasan sa pagpapahayag, pagsusuri at pagbuo ng tekstong naratibo at impormatibo gamit ang mga salit ang natutuhan sa wikang Filipino nang may wastong gramatika at diskurso tungkol sa sarili at bansa.

Arts

Physical Education
The learner demonstrates understanding of body awareness, space awareness, qualities of effort and movement relationships through participation in enjoyable physical activities.
Health
The learner demonstrates an understanding and knowledge in the following: nutrition; prevention and control of diseases and disorders; consumer health; and community and environmental health—factors which help in facilitating the development of healthy habits and practices.

At the end of the quarter, students must be able to demonstrate understanding on basic geometric concepts, area of squares and rectangles, and number concepts up to 10,000, and apply these by identifying, drawing, comparing, ordering, rounding numbers, and solving for area accurately

The learner demonstrates communication skills in talking about variety
of topics using expanding vocabulary and phrases, shows understanding of spoken
language in different contexts using both verbal and non-verbal cues, vocabulary
and language structures, cultural aspects of the language, reads and writes
literary and informational texts.

The learners have observed the changes when mixing a solid in a liquid or a liquid in another liquid. From these investigations, learners can now describe the appearance of mixtures as uniform or non-uniform and classify them as homogeneous or heterogeneous mixtures.
Based on the characteristics of the components of a heterogeneous mixture, learners investigate ways of separating these components from the mixture. They will infer that the characteristics of each of the components remain the same even when the component is part of the mixture.
