The Homeroom Guidance program (HGP) seeks to develop personality of learners through an understanding of the self and the environment, and prepare them for their roles in the family, work, higher, education, and the community.

The HGP was designed as a way to strengthen the functions of school guidance.  As such, HGP gives importance to individual learners.  The HGP activities aim to develop each learner's personality and enhance the students' social relationships with teachers and other classmates.



Ang kursong ito ay nakatuon sa pagpapahalaga sa pambansang pagkakakilanlan at ang mga kontribusyon ng bawat rehiyon sa paghubog ng kulturang Pilipino at pambansang pag-unlad gamit ng mga kasanayan sa heograpiya, pag-unawa sa kultura at kabuhayan, pakikilahok sa pamamahala at pagpapahalaga sa mga mithiin ng bansang Pilipinas.

The learner listens critically to various text types and expresses ideas accurately in both oral and written forms; demonstrates confidence in the use of the language to meet everyday needs; and reads independently and gets relevant information from various text types. 

The learner demonstrates basic knowledge, skills, and values in agriculture, entrepreneurship and ICT, home economics, and industrial arts that can help improve self and family life.

Pagkatapos ng Ikaapat na Baitang, naipamamalas ng mag-aaral ang pag-unawa sa mga makabuluhang gawain na may kaakibat na pagpapahalaga tungo sa wasto, maayos, masaya at mapayapang pamumuhay para sa sarili, kapwa, bansa at Diyos.

Pagkatapos ng Ikaapat na Baitang, naipamamalas na ng mga mag-aaral ang kakayahan sa pagbasa, pagsulat at pakikipagtalastasan nang wasto upang maipahayag ang kaalaman, ideya at damdaming angkop sa kaniyang edad at sa kulturang kinabibilangan at nakikilahok sa pagpapaunlad ng pamayanan.

PE

The learner demonstrates understanding of the importance of physical activity and physical fitness through participation in and assessment of physical activities.


Health

The learner demonstrates understanding of nutrition; injury prevention, safety and first aid; and substance use and abuse to achieve optimum health.



In this quarter, you will develop important math skills. You’ll learn how to present and interpret data in both tables and line graphs, helping you analyze and visualize information. You’ll also explore patterns by generating simple sequences and describing the rules behind them. You’ll complete number sentences to represent different number properties and facts, strengthening your understanding of math relationships. As you work with decimal numbers, you’ll practice comparing, ordering, and rounding decimals. Additionally, you’ll learn how to convert decimal numbers to fractions and fractions to decimals, focusing on those with denominators of 10 or 100. By the end of the quarter, you’ll have a strong grasp of these key concepts and how to apply them in real-life situations.

Program Standard:  After familiarizing themselves with the general landscape, learners will investigate two components of the physical environment in more detail: soil and water. They will classify soils in their community using simple criteria. They will identify the different sources of water in their community. They will infer the importance of water in daily activities and describe ways of using water wisely and after making simple descriptions about the weather in the previous grade, learners will now measure the components of weather using simple instruments. They will also identify trends in a simple weather chart also After describing the natural objects that are seen in the sky, learners will now focus on the main source of heat and light on Earth: the Sun, its role in plant growth and development, and its effect on the activities of humans and other animals.

Grade Level Standard: The learners demonstrate an understanding of the different types of soil, human consumption of water, and the Sun as the main source of heat and light on Earth.
